community Code of conduct
Effective as of March 31st, 2026
This community runs on trust. Real practitioners sharing hard-won experience in a zero-sales, zero-fluff environment. Four rules keep it that way.
Who Belongs Here
This community is for architects, engineers, and leaders doing real work at the edge. Practitioners actually building, deploying, and operating edge systems at scale. If that is you, welcome. Membership is invite-only and reviewed by the Edge Monsters team to keep the signal high for everyone.
The Four Rules
#1 — Be Kind
Disagree on architecture. Debate tradeoffs. Challenge assumptions. But treat people with respect. No personal attacks, no condescension, no harassment. If you would not say it on a keynote stage, do not say it here.
#2 — Be Helpful
You are here because you have hard-won experience. Share it. Answer questions. Point to resources. Help someone avoid a mistake you made. The community gets better when everyone contributes, not just when everyone asks.
#3 — Be Engaged
We encourage engagement. Show up to AMAs. Respond to questions in your wheelhouse. Introduce yourself. A community of silent observers is not a community.
#4 — Zero Sales
This is the non-negotiable one. No pitches. No vendor spam. No “happy to connect” DMs fishing for a demo. No self-promotion disguised as a question. Technical conversations only.
Enforcement
Violations are handled by the Edge Monsters team. Minor violations get a private note. Repeated or serious violations result in removal. No appeals process. No community vote. The Edge Monsters team has final say.
We keep the bar high because the community’s value depends on it.
Membership
Invite-only. Applications are reviewed by the Edge Monsters team. Use a durable email (a personal one works great if you change jobs) and your real name. Once you are in, introduce yourself in the #introductions channel.
No cost. No subscription. No upsell. Just the community.
